Good eye on the hybrid mallard. Many ducks are hard to identify but the hybrid is a real challenge.
Hybrid mallards are quite common it seems, though they tend to all look different so its hard to be sure at times.
The wooden ducks puzzle me. Are they art works, do you own them, where do I get some?
Sarah the wood ducks were photographed in an antique store in Delta Canada. I would have loved to be able to purchase them but at least the owner kindly allowed me to photograph them. I wish I had taken differing views and close ups though as they are pretty cool.
Hugs!
